On the 5.7.25., I left Lok Ma Chau Station, to go to Sham Chun to buy food. I got leave from Lance Sergeant A70, but did not tell him I was going to Sham Chun. It was customary for me to buy food at Sham Chun. At about 10 am., I crossed the Lo U Bridge, and when near Sham Chun Railway Station, I was stopped by 5 or 6 men, dressed in plain clothes and unarmed. Two of them caught hold of me and asked if I was a Water Policeman, I said: "No". I knew one of the men who seized me, His name is Lam Cheuk Ting. I had previously met him at Yaumati, but do not know his previous occupation. The two men then took me to the railway shed at Sham Chun where I was kept a prisoner for 3 days and nights with my hands tied. I was struck while

a prisoner on several occasions - blows on the cheat but was given ample foed. My hands were untied only at mealtimes. There was a guard of about 10 men always present. Each time
I was struck I was told that I was a Government servant, and this appeared to annoy them and to be their reason for assaulting me.
On the 8.7.25., the two men who arrested me took me a prisoner by train to Canton. There was another prisoner, whose name I do not know, who had been arrested in Sham Chun for trying to recruit seamen, He came from Fanteai. Te arrived at Canton at about 6 pm., and were taken direct to the Supervisory Bureau, (Tau Chat Po), where I kept a prisoner, until some 6 or 7 days ago. There were
many other prisoners at the Tau Chat Po, some with their
hands tied. My hands were not tied. I was given two good meals per day, and was not maltreated in any way.
No one spoke or questioned me at the Tau Chat Po,
until I had been there about 10 days, when I was taken
